WVU’s Noel Devine in trouble
This is a bit dated but it is the off-season sodeal with it.
Two WVU students say that they were beaten by a group of football players that included Noel Devine [link]. Imagine that.
We must stop Eer on Eer crime. Those hills do have eyes.
WVU should do what they do in Gainesville or in Tuscaloosa (the new policy). They must spin this asswhipping into something
like following scenario: the students were armed and trying to bomb a recruiting station and the superhero players learned of this plot, got out of bed (they’d been sleeping since 8:30 PM until they were paged on their Batphone), and the players subdued the evildoer students, saving countless puppies and kittens. Mission Accomplished!!
Those Eers should be all about beating up Pitt or Michigan fans. RememberEers you recruited a player that punched out his high school coach and the coach needed stiches, and then the state of Georgia would not allow him to play football any longer!!

But I’m sure it’s a “Bammer Conspiracy” that he got off. I’m sure the community service is b/c he was really guilty, not b/c the DA and the TPD is trying to save face for arresting guys for things that didn’t happen and then getting busted by 4 different camera angles.

Okay, here’s a theory: Someone pissed Devine off. Someone ethnically slurred Devine. Someone was completely out of line somehow and got his ass kicked. Think My Cousin Vinny: “Well, lemme see now…I could really use a good ass kickin’, but I think I’ll take the $200.”
Sometimes you really just need a good ass kicking. And if you think you may LOSE the ass kicking, make sure you get an ass kicking from someone whose reputation you could smear by taking the attention away from the fact that you ASKED for and LOST the ass kicking. It’s college, dumbass! JUST GET THROUGH IT and get the hell out of your parents’ checkbooks. Study hard, graduate, get a job, and go on with your life. And grow up into someone who’s had his share of ass kickings. Make someone proud. Make yourself proud. Ass kicking or no ass kicking, Devine’s family is PROUD of him and what he has worked for and accomplished. If you disrespected him, you asked for whatever he came at you with.
