I know alot of you liked Danny. I did too. Lets remember him not only as the boy on American idol but as Danny Norriega the boy who wanted not only fans but friends as well. I know it’s been a week, but I’m trying very hard to study and can’t! Danny’s “Tainted Love” keeps playing over and over in my head and I feel close to tears.

 I am refusing to talk to EVERYONE all week, except for Percy. Everyone else can get over their problems & themselves. I am not in the mood.

Watching Idol last night, I was so confused and hurt. I love Danny. He should not be gone. I was sewing to calm my nerves (yes sewing), and when I thought that I saw Danny in the audience, I stabbed myself. Big mistake. =/ Oh & I tried running up the stairs to lock myself in my room, but I was shaking so hard, that I tripped a few times. =(

YES YES YES.
I knew he wouldn’t be there,
but I kept expecting and hoping to see his shining face up there cranking up the ‘tude.
I also kept thinking that I DID see him.
I kept going OMG DANNY? But it wasnt really him….

You could tell that Ramiele sang her song for Danny. It was heartfelt – not flashy but she was singing what she felt.

The judges didn’t like it cause I think they have no hearts anymore, hahahaha.

Its depressing. My eyes just started watering. =( Sad, angry… I cannot even describe how I feel right now.
I want to see Danny on stage.

Today, I’m so sad. I am wearing my horizontal stripes, even though I usually do anyway lol, today i added a scarf, and i am listening to proud mary, tainted love, and superstar all day.

Still I find it hard to believe that Chikezie had more votes than Danny. Just a thought or 2 on Chikezie: The tenderness Chikeze showed last week cannot be matched. He is a big loveable guy. I’d like to create the Chikezie squeeze doll. He actually brought tears to my eyes. I still get a little moist when i think of Simon’s awful words:

Everytime Simon shouted “TERRIBLE” after “Tainted Love” it was another nail in Danny’s coffin.

Simon again with the cruel imprecise adjectives that went too far!

It was just verbal abuse after the first one!

BLEEP Simon!

It was him and that stupid Christmas video clip that killed Danny!

But I’m over it! Life goes on!

Move on with your life, as Danny is doing!

I have picked up the pieces of my tattered life…

You know who I get now? I get David Hernandez. For the first 2-3 weeks I just did not ‘get him’. I thought his vocals were undistinguishable, his song choices corny, and his performances forgettable. But starting earlier with his rendition of “papa was a rolling stone”, I started to feel him. And tonight, I really was mesmerized by his performance. He was #8!! Ironically 8 is the same number that Chris Leak scored on his wonderlic.

Paula is right about him, he REALLY connects with your heart. At least mine. And I heard a quality in his voice that was magnificent. He almost emotes as he sings, capturing your heart with each pleading, longing, urgent note that he sings.

Oh well, I thought that had my life back on Tues & Wed now, without Danny, but now it can be fun again.. Either way, Danny has a good voice but we have to move on and accept he’s gone but i do miss him..but I got David now!!

Don’t worry, it’s gonna be like omg like so cool like omg. Sure AI, we’re that stupid…
