Me, David Cook and  Clay Travis….just hanging!!!

There was no doubt that David would make cut last night.  No doubt at all.  So I took some time away from football to watch David Cook’s performance again. It was the only time in my entire life that I actually got a lump in my throat from watching someone else perform. I don’t know if I was even breathing during his performance of Billie Jean.  I was so focused on him and the performance and all the raw emotion in it that I  think I might have forgotten the rest of the world around me.

Usually, live performances get me pumped, make me smile, get me all excited and make me wanna dance. Thanks to David Cook, I experienced for the first time ever in my life wanting to actually cry because of how talented someone is (for the opposite reasons, i did cry when I watched Chris Leak run the option). When he held that note, I got more goosebumps than I get when I wear a t-shirt in the freezing cold. He’s so full of emotion and it all feels so real that I can’t even comprehend it.

 The entire time I was thinking to myself “Is this really happening?” because it was just TOO amazing. Its unreal. I’ve watched it 4 times in a row now and everytime i get the same feeling. The feeling of complete amazement.  Oh to be a microphone stand….He has REALLY nice hands…

Mesmerizing, hypnotic, haunting, demanding, forceful, soulful, heartfelt, powerful, elevating, soaring, brilliant, courgeous, phenomenal, fabulous, amazing, glorious, rockin, radiant, HOT, impressive, inspirational, stunning, convincing, powerful and well… that’s only just breaking the surface of SOME of the words I found, but none of them fully encompass the full emotion of the performance.

Oh… by the way, David Cook, you are SUCH a RockStar.  Then again, you always have been *wink* 

I almost started crying (again). Just seeing someone this talented being able to get closer to their dream, its amazing. He is amazing.  Magical! Perfect! OK, I did cry, just a little 

I can honestly say I’ve never felt this feeling before.
