No having, one coach with man teets leave for TAMU, one coach be fired for bangin g ugly skank strippers saying “It’s rolling” and another come in and look like a deer in headlights is embarrasing. COULD THIS BE WHY TALENT WAS LOW AND UNDEVELOPED? ChiTownVol from BOL

Numerous links below on Bama’s fail in the NFL Draft. No draft picks since the 1970 team. The 1970 squad went 6-5-1, subpar by Alabama standards, but the norm these days. This only only adds proof that the Bama upsetting Tennessee was of Appy State proportions. The defending Weedeater Bowl Champions blame the NFL Draft on Mike Shula, Dennis F., Mike Price and Mike DuBose (did I forget anyone?)..yes NCAA Sanctions

41-17 with no NFL talent.

# 1 incoming freshman class. Soon to have plenty more classes like that.

United fanbase, National Championship winning coach.

It’s going to be awesome to be a Bama fan in the coming years.

2. MoonDog - April 30, 2008

10-4-1 against the Vols in the last 15 years.

#1 incoming freshman class of which two might qualify academically.

United fan base, eager to visit Shreveport, the T-Town ghetto of Louisiana.

National Championship cheating coach.

It’s going to be awesome watching Bama fail year after year.

3. Sad State of Affairs - April 30, 2008

Series record.

Most recent victory, which happened to be a blowout.

Pathetic that you have to say the kids aren’t going to qualify. What are you basing it on? You have a Bama Online account? B/C they update the academic standings, and pretty much all the kids are on track, so I’m not really sure where your statements are coming from.

Where is the proof that Nick Saban is cheating? Can you back that up?

Oh, wait, all your statements were baseless attacks and wishful thinking. Get your kicks in now, since I’m sure you know just how good a full strength Bama program is and deep down you know that Bama is headed back to the top.

D. J. Hall apparently had the best shot but one statement in the NFL Analysis tells the story. “Lacks true courage in traffic”. Having shit in your neck will not get you to the next level.

5. MoonDog - April 30, 2008

Bama was supposed to be back on top when they hired Mike Price. They were supposed to be back on top when they hired Shula. They were supposed to be….you get the picture.

When you get back on top (never) I’ll give you props.

Send me a postcard from Shreveport.

Bama cheats.

RTR.

SSAs optimism is exceeded only by the size of his balls.

7. gatorhippy - April 30, 2008

It’s nice to see that Charlie Pell was finely given his proper place along side the rest of those guys on Mount Cheatmore this time…

I guess my advice was taken from the last time that photoshop was posted here…

That was a total slight to one of the greatest of all time…

I appreciate it enough to not even bitch about Galen Hall being left off…

8. SeminoleUprising - April 30, 2008

I never thought is was right to simply smack one team at a time when you can trash several at once.

Mountie football fortunes have taken a turn for the worst lately when Hometown boy RichRod flew the coop and sang hail to the victors!

Insiders with their hand on the pulse at WVU indicate high profile coach Jimbo Fisher HCIW at FSU will arrive in Morgentown at any moment.

After being turned down by FSU’s Jimbo Fisher the search turns to tater tot, La Enfante Terribles, former Auburn legend!

After the deal fell through WVU announces negotiations are underway with Nick Saban and the governor. Saban says his signal to come home will be smoke in the air from burning couches.

So much for that one the links disappeared.

Anyway back to Bama.

@7 galen hall was upstanding…he loaned $$ to louis oliver to make child support payments…he got a bad rap. he was a victim of the ‘legacy of cheat’ at UF…..

put shug jordan up there instead

12. gatorhippy - May 1, 2008

Nica, I was being sarcastic…

However, there was a little more than Oliver receiving some cash with those sanctions…

There was continued booster violations and the question of a plane ticket as well…

But, yes…

Compared to Pell’s violations; that were noted as “some of the most grievous ever” by the NCAA; Hall looked like a scapegoat because of the recentness of the Pell situation…

13. gatorhippy - May 1, 2008

Nole, I gots some sticky icky and a pistol for you….

14. LL - May 1, 2008

If I’m not mistaken, isn’t 1970 the season that Bama got waxed by USC (with several black players scoring TDs for the Trojans) thus causing that racist, alcoholic SOB The Bear to finally start recruiting black players?

Sad State:
Seriously, it’s pathetic that Bama made smack talk T-SHIRTS to celebrate their #1 recruiting class. That’s a first and at the same time a new low. Bama’s recruiting class was strength in numbers. They don’t even have enough scholarships for them all. And obviously they don’t have a solution for it because St. Nick got all nervous, flustered and upset and stormed off the podium when asked about it a couple of weeks ago. Bama math at its finest.

15. zigzag - May 1, 2008

# 1 recruiting class? Who gives a shit? The War Eagle with Tuberfield at the helm, will continue to rule.

16. Sad State of Affairs - May 1, 2008

15 -

Correct. Football is not cyclical, and what happened in recent history is the only thing that will happen from now until the end of time. Bama will never get better and never beat Auburn again.

14 -

I love how much hate you have to interject when speaking about Paul Bryant. You are so pathetic.
Also, sorry we’re happy that we’re bringing in real talent so we don’t have to go through many more years of no Bama players being drafted. Sorry that our fanbase is enthusiastic and 100% behind our program, players and coach instead of having gay internet bitch fights over blogs about the program.
And as far as the strength in numbers/oversigning issue -
Rivals rates class rankings only on the top 20 players in a class, so that keeps people from being the top class just by bringing in a ton of people. It does help, however, that after our best 20, we’re still left with a number of 4 stars that will probably be contributors in the next few years.
As for the oversigning issue (or, really, nonissue) - Saban has tried to answer that question multiple times to the reporter who asked it in the video that you are referencing. The truth of the matter is, Saban cannot give an answer b/c there are a few variables still not known yet (such as the final number of qualifiers, who will be there from the prior year, etc.), but he has a scenario for each situation. Multiple players are willing to greyshirt if needed and have no problem doing so b/c they get the chance to play for Alabama.
So why does Saban owe an explanation to something that he can’t fully answer (considering the last time he was forced into answering a question like that he was vilified for it for a year)? Especially when trying to answer the question would violate the private situations of players both currently enrolled at Alabama and those that have signed LOI’s to Bama (in other words, still in high school).
Oh, but you don’t care about that. You just want to put Alabama in the worst light possible without looking objectively at anything. I guess that’s easier to do than focusing on the positive aspects of your own team like those “Bammers” are doing, huh?

17. LL - May 1, 2008

Sad State:
For the record, I’m a Gator, not a Vol. Our fanbase is 100% behind our coach and enthusiastic.

Don’t apologize for your enthusiasm. But shit like T-Shirts talking smack about a #1 recruiting class? That’s a little much. Fans naming their newborn son “Saban” before the coach had even coached a game? Ridiculous.

If by answering the question, Saban would violate the private situations of players both currently enrolled at Alabama and those that have signed LOI’s to Bama, then wouldn’t the reporter whose job it is to cover it know that he couldn’t ask it? Was he asking it just to make Saban uncomfortable and make a scene? Judging by Saban’s body language he was very uncomfortable by the question.

18. Sad State of Affairs - May 1, 2008

17 -

Funny you should ask that. And it’s not so much that he couldn’t ask the question, it’s that there’s no way that Saban could answer it. And yes, Ian Rappaport, the reporter asking the question, did know that the answer to the question before he asked it. He knew b/c he has asked Saban many times before and given the same response before. It really comes off that Rappaport was purposefully asking it to get the response that he did (hey, if you can’t report the news, just make it, I guess).

This is the same clown that posted a blog crying b/c the big bad football department wouldn’t give him full access to whatever he wanted. Pretty much he’s trying to make a name of himself by pissing off Saban b/c he knows that the Saban/Bama hate is such that a ridiculous exchange like the one we’re talking about will make ESPN b/s there is enough to put both Saban and Bama in a bad light.

Anyway, sorry for mistaking you for a Vol. Just assuming, and you know what that does.
Anyway, we do have some very enthusiastic fans who are going to do that kind of stuff (t-shirts, son-naming). It’s part of what makes it great to be a southern football fan. I certainly remember Florida fans being quite proud and vocal about their recruiting successes under UM in his # 1 recruiting class year (as they should be, since recruiting successes are usually a strong indicator of future on the field successes).
Remember, not all Florida fans are Rhodes scholars either, and thinking such would be quite naive. The difference is there is absolutely nothing going on in Alabama except for college football year round, so these Bama fans seem to find their way to the news a whole lot more than the comparable Florida fan.

19. zigzag - May 1, 2008

@16 Six down and infinity to go.

20. Realist - May 1, 2008

@18

No, that “clown” was G. Estes, but nice attempt to alter the little things to get your point across, which is what your fanbase is known for.

But I am just part of this jealous nation b/c I’ve seen the future and the ass-whoopings are-a-comin…The other note-worthy aspect of your fanbase: “Wait till next year”…

Damn, if you can’t be humble in the darkest period of your storied program chances are you never will be, shame.

What a joke.
