Is he recruiting or regaling the masses of how he won Bama’s 13th National Championship?
Nick Saban’s detached, cold, emotionless but oddly enchanting description of the Bammer football lures both real and sidewalk Bama Alumni together to the Bama Alumni Club “Megatalks” like sailors to the Siren’s song. These talks will have the excitement of a 1 of 1 Google search result.
Just because Alabama is not ranked in any preseason polls or “rolling” off of kicking the ass of some Big 12 ass in Shreveport it makes no difference to the mature Roid. No real Bammeroid can’t resist the sheeny gloss of Saban’s dominant feathered angel winged bangs. Those angel wings, so ominous and yet so dark. They are a looming shadow flickering and waving, traveling before the chop blocking Bammeroids fluttering in agitation.
But more than that, every Bammeroid instinctively yearns for the houndstooth, Jesus, tradition and history that only the University of Alabama and Nick Saban can offer. Nor the opportunity to party and street fight with Simeon Castille. RTR
As a former sailor, I can personally attest that siren songs would be far better.
