Mike, with six (there’s that number again for the Bammers) 1st or 2nd team all SEC players under his watch, Saban was only able to take his team to the Weedeater Bowl. With 2 All SEC players, including the punter, the Barn was still able to handle that ass.

With that in mind, I don’t think talent level really matters when it comes to Tuberville or Saban’s job security. Saban has to beat the Barn, and he has shown an inability to do so with superior talent. Tubs has to continue to beat UAT to keep his ass on the plains, and thus far he has shown that his ‘crootin’ has nothing to do with the result of the Iron Bowl.

I think it is fantastic that they took the time to go overseas to see the troops. As an E-6 in the Air Force who just returned from Iraq a few days ago, I thank them for supporting the troops.

Alot of people do not know about the entertainment that goes on for us over there. They are all a class act and it’s good to see the SEC getting involved.

A big thumbs up to Coach Tuberville for the visit, hopefully my beloved Vols will make him wish he were home instead preparing for the game!

Saban was originally invited but the Defense Department didn’t want a cheater involved with the brave men of our Armed Forces. Taht and the fact he couldn’t stand being in Tommy “Six Straight” Tuberville’s presence.
