Tiger isn't the favorite because of an unfair advantage like the house is in Vegas. He's the favorite because he has more ability and focus than everyone else.

Davis Love III and Phil Mickelson are great golfers, but are boring to watch. I like almost all of them. None of them are anywhere close to Tiger. Cheering against him is funny. My Pops did that for a while too, now he just accepts it and appreciates how he wins.

I'm glad to see other guys beat Tiger on occasion. It's something they can tell their grandkids someday, "I beat Tiger Woods".

From the golfers:
"Tiger is our tour. When you lose your star player, it definitely hurts. It's definitely an opportunity for us, for sure. But still, you want to beat the best." - Kenny Perry

"Gives us a chance to win now, I guess. It is a blow to all the fans who follow him, the sponsors. The money wouldn't be where it is if it wasn't for him. A lot of people don't realize, if it wasn't for Tiger, we wouldn't be playing for what we are now." - John Daly.

"To hear he is not going to play for the rest of the year is a massive blow to golf." - European Tour player Ross Fisher.

Cheering for Tiger to win is like going to Vegas and cheering for the house to win. I simply cannot get excited about cheering for the odds-on favorite. My favorite golfer is whoever is closest to Tiger on any given Sunday. I hope Tiger fails.

Jack and Arnold weren't really on TV much in their younger days were they?

As I wipe my doogan on the screen smearing this retarded post, I also have a tab open with an article that says Tiger has been playing on a ruptured ACL since 2007. What a wuss.

http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/news/story?id=3450453

Oh, and he's also won 12 tournaments including 2 majors with a ruptured ACL and stress fractures.

"Woods is ultraprivate with his health and personal life, never more so than at the U.S. Open. He never mentioned the torn ACL or the stress fracture, and wouldn't say how he was treating his knee, only that it was more sore as the week went on."

Yeah, that's easy to hate.

Those that hate Tiger are few and far between and most that do, hate him because he has a hint of black in his DNA. Idiots, the whole bunch. Root against Tiger all you want, just know that you're rooting against the greatest golfer in the history of the world. He's better to golf than Jordan was to basketball and that's saying a lot.

Yes, ElvisVol was the only ass clown that saw Tiger only limp on poor shots. The rest of us also saw him limp after some monster drives that found the fairway.

Cheering against the Patriots or the Celtics is understandable. They're a flash in the pan. Cheering against Tiger Woods is hilarious. Even when he's beat, he's still the best in the world, so what's the point?

What's even more impressive about golf is it's individualism. No teammates to bail you out of throwing INTs or fumbling or taping opponents practices or walking batters or missing free throws.

One on one and he makes the best pee themselves with a torn ACL.

Just enjoy the fact that Tiger Woods is allowing you to be a living witness of the accomplishments of the greatest golfer in history.
