(Thanks Scott) Is Alabama a jinx job? Does the pressure of the position beat coaches down so much that they are hardly ever the same again? Or has Alabama made (mostly) a series of bumbling choices over these past 25 years? [Finebaum]
I am thinking of Bama buffoonery like Seedy Pensacola Nightclubs, Mike Price seeking a “human touch”; celebrating Secretaries Day with Dumbose; Coach Fran slipping out to College Station under the cover of darkness (like leaving Miami?); or just being an F-Bomb dropping, Ice Cream eating, tube socks, acid washed jeans, gold chain wearing enigma of Bammer tradition and class: Mike Shula.
It brings joy to my heart to see the evil and debauched Bammeroids wallow in their self-created hades of arrogance. The wheels of justice grind slow and they grind just fine. That wheel is rolling and it is moving very slow. The fun is really just now starting as Coach Nick Saban moves the Bammeroid Nation to its 27th* National Championship (*includes Dunkels and Thesauraus rankings). Maybe that will help the “Snake” pay his back IRS taxes and fines. Don’t forget court costs from the DUIs.
I’m not sure which is lamer, this pointless article, or the SEC in general…

A family member of mine plays for Wake, and as a representative of the mighty ACC their monstrous stadium “sells out every game” as advertised. I sware it looked like a freaking high school stadium.
Also, while watching the Dr Pepper ACC Championship, admittedly I was bored from watching the SeaDooBombardier.com SnotandPiss Bowl take place in Juno, it dawned on me. The ACC didn’t even come close….CLOSE to selling out its championship game. What in the world??????
