Arrogance isn’t sufficient enough a word for Bammeroids, delusional megalomaniacsis is a step in the right direction. If you could sell the typical bammer for what he thought he was worth, a Swiss Chalet (with an above ground pool) would be a weekend getaway home.
Which again is the true reason why people hate Alabama fans, is because of how they handle success. Teams like Yale, Colgate, Army also have storied programs and their fair share of championships, but do you see their fans constantly bringing up things that no one even remembers or cares about? They, like the majority of football schools, talk about the season at hand (and possibly a 2-4 years previously) because that is all that matters for the current season.
As an example: Remember when the roids hired Mike Shula, there were “Got Shula?” shirts for sale? Or they were comparing Shula and young Bear’s photos like Shula was the second coming, “he looks like the Bear”. They looked just like the “Got Twelve?” shirts. Bragging about having (and I have to yell this part) TWELLLLLVE NASHNUL CHAMPIONSHIPPPPPS is one thing, but bragging about a (at the time) first year, unproven head coach who had mainly been hired because Daddy was good back in the day (I don’t care HOW good his wife looks or HOW expensive his dad’s steakhouse is), there are just some things you can’t brag about…

I digress…In the Spirit of Sports Purgatory, and in response to the environment I dwell in amongst my ‘Bama brethren, I give you my Top 3 reasons why I Hate Alabama Fans:
1. There’s an excuse for everything.
I remember observing Auburn fans during their miserable run between Terry Bowden and Tommy Tuberville’s tenor and the statement I heard most often was, “We’re just terrible right now” or something similar. In the last 8 years, I have heard every reason conceivable to man why Alabama is horrible including “scholarships being cut”, “If Brodie hadn’t been hurt”, “We had a bad coach”, and it just keeps going. Those are great excuses, but the reason Alabama is losing so much is that they’re just not good. Case closed.
2. They don’t quit talking.
Now this is just me, but if my team had been beaten 6 years in a row by my archrival - I would like to think that somewhere around year 3, I would just shut up. I remember last season when Alabama had beaten Tennessee and Auburn was coming off its poor start against South Florida and Mississippi State and you would have thought that the last 5 years had just not happened. Of course, that was weeks before that all-inspiring $4 million dollar 7-6 finish. I will say that after the UL-Monroe debacle, they did go into hiding for a few hours, but the next day the NASCAR stadium was full and beers were still being sold so you knew they were alive and kicking.
3. They refuse to deal with facts.
It’s simply insane if you take the time to do any research at all how ludicrous and subjective The University of Alabama’s football tradition really is. Consider these facts, and because it seems to really bother Alabama fans, I will use Auburn in my comparisons: In my lifetime of almost 30 years, Alabama is 13-16 against Auburn. In that same period of time, Auburn has won more SEC Championships, been undefeated twice, and beaten Alabama more times than they’ve lost. Do you want to know what the typical response to these facts are? “Roll Tide”. Powerful.
So, in conclusion, let’s talk our smack - raise our flags, fire up the grill, buy our favorite preseason Magazines for College Football and endure Purgatory. Here’s to all of you passionate fans (Bama definitely included) that make this game the best in the nation!

I played high school football with Antonio Langhum and in one game I had 5 tds 489 yds 2 running tds and was on the bench in the entire 2nd half im also a distant cousin of gene stalins and its bama fans liek you that give that state a bad rap dont talk shit about tennessee i cant tell you how many times in the last 15 years weve beated your cheatin asses like 11 out 15 so suck on that bammers and its just a amoutn of time until your sorry asses are back on probabtion just like kentucky basketball ive killed many animals with my bare hands and im not a bit skeered to do the same to your punk bammer ass. First off…Fulmer and the Big UcheaT have been caught cheating several times hence why Bama, State, and Kentucky all faced suspensions courtesy Fat Phil. Second…I live in TN and Tenn fans are the most sensitive and ignorant football fans I have ever met. You cry everytime someone says a displeasing comment and often have no clue about whats going on or what your talking about. Third…No Tenn can scream about made up championships bc Tenn only has two yet everyone of you hillbillies claim six. The NCAA recgonizes Bama with 12 and UT with 2… thats it. They make the rules and they decide the champions get over it. Besides Alabama has been cited with actually having 25 titles compared to your 6 but I guess we will settle for 12.

Thought I was done but kept reading and the stupid just kept on coming so…. Tennessee got their ass raped last year. Lets quit bringing up the past fellows. 11-15 is a good record against us but we hold the series overall in case you forgot. Thats not important though what is important is that a mediocre 6-6 team beat the SEC east champion last year like a drum. We also have most of our best players back and didnt lose a senior QB or a top LB to the NFL. Tenn is on the decline. You lost your best coach (Cutcliffe and your best recruiter Trooper Taylor) and lets not forget the last time Cutcliffe was not around….ehem can we say 2005. Cant remember but someone got beat by Vandy. Talk about low…anyway enjoy the posts douchebags because jealousy is reason #1 why we hate UT. Reason #2 is common sense to you guys is like gold if you get the slightest bit you feel on top of the world and Reason #3 No matter how hard you guys try Tenn football is a joke. You have had a great run but like all good things its coming to an end. Better call up Vandy and ask em what its like to be on the bottom Cuz thats where your headed. Oh and lets not forget where the SEC commissioner went to College thus when UT was accused of cheating and yes in fact did cheat Fulmer was given the opportunity to give up three opposing SEC schools to save his own. I played for Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro a powerhouse in the 90’s and several players in my class confessed to being offered bribes from UT, Ohio St. and several other smaller schools so again lets keep the finger pointing to a minimum especially when you yourselves are guilty!

ESPN wrote a great article…Oh and for all those vols fans that does not think UT cheats. The reason Tenn was put under suspension was TEE martin accepted 4500 dollars from a anonymous non-booster that just so happened to show up in his account and he could never manage to muster where it came from. 24 Players on the UT championship team were caught cheating or not even making the grades yet somehow had stellar GPA’s. Then Eric Locke even admitted to the NCAA that Tenn. had cheated to acquire him from Alabama(turned out to be quite a bust I might add) and the NCAA looked the other way. So the cheating is there oh and by the way…UT was also one of the schools Means said he was considering he just mentioned that BAMA was closer to home and that UT had a good offer. So again muscle up something clever and watch me shoot it down. U guys make it to easy.
