However, his offense isn’t what it used to be. Defenses have a lot of tape on how to stop it. Even his last couple of years in Gainesville weren’t like the first few.

I don’t know if the Ol’ Ball Coach’s system works anymore. It’s based on a vertical passing game, but he so capriciously changes quarterbacks on a whim that I can’t imagine any really great quarterback would want to play there, especially if they have designs on making the NFL.

Plus, the fact that his NFL career was all kinds of fail probably is being used against him by recruiters for other programs when they are talking to a kid who thinks he can make the NFL.
