A certain poster on Volquest with a custom-made jersey, who likes to position himself as an “insider” threatened to take his ball and go home if we werent banned. This poster likes to make himself cozy with players and the parents of players and the Cromptonites were a large part of his congregation. We were banned for telling the truth. We were silenced for sounding the alarm.

Florida has always played football and has always had a very strong Alumni and Fan following. Way back in the day, Bear Bryant referred to UF as a “sleeping Giant” because all of the pieces were in place to be a dominant program, all they needed was to get someone in there who could Coach and Recruit.
Enter the 90s and the success and championships that Spurrier brings to UF. Now, the Gators are recognized on a National Level. We Gators know that we didn’t win championships before the 90s. It’s a tired bit used by fans of other SEC Schools.
Of course, Florida’s success pisses UT Fans (yourself) off to high heaven because if not for Spurrier coming to UF, the 90s would have been a more successful decade for the Vols.
Bottom line is that pretty much for the last 30 years UF has owned UT. All you have now to hold on to is the victories you had over UF back football was 3 yards and a cloud of dust.
Keep living in the past with your Vols while the Gators continue to move forward and continue to be successful. At least you have your memories, right?

i was watching ESPN today and the grusome twosome ( KIrk and theFowler ) were talking about the vols having a leadership and character problem that has been getting worse for the past 6 years. my interpretation was they were saying it began with Casey C and Kelly Washington & has been going downhill & accelerating since. All i can say is: this is what i have perceived and have been saying. That is we have too many thugs , too many guys who are unreasonably sure they are going to the NFL and the vols are just a ticket punch along the way (ex K wash) and maybe R meacheam ( it really pains me to list him ) Where are the t martins and al wilsons .
