Well, we did it again. A few years ago UGA lost to WVU in the Sugar Bowl. We made a team that was good look much better than they actually were, but it wasn’t the loss that was the problem. No. It was the next couple of years that was the problem. All of the sudden, the Big East was being pimped by ESPN and WVU fans ran their mouths non-stop. Thankfully, the truth has prevailed for the Big East and WVU. Both are back to 3rd tier status. I already apologized for that one.
Next on the list is the beat down the Vols gave UGA in Athens on October 7, 2006 and the equally severe beat down the Vols gave UGA in 2007. The 2006 win for the Vols when, they scored 51 in Athens, assisted Fulmer in securing his job. The 2007 win helped the Vols stroll into the SEC title game and lose. However, these results help Fulmer secure his job for the next 35 years. My apologies go to the Vol fans who actually want to see UT be relevant again, but will not see those days again while Fulmer is at the helm. Had UGA won the 2007 game, UT doesn’t go to the SECCG and maybe Fulmer is fired at the end of this season. I’m sorry we didn’t do our part in chasing Phil out the door. Maybe we’ll do better next time. I don’t know.
This most recent debacle to ’bama has woken the sleeping beast. No, the ’bammer program, but the other sleeping beast that is the most obnoxious, mouthy fan base in the universe. I know you UT fans have heard from them for years, but the rest of us who aren’t rivals with ‘bama haven’t heard much from this bunch in 10 years. Now we have and their ignorance hurts more than seeing my beloved bulldogs get beat like a drum in Athens, again. You know when you watch a movie that’s based on the 1960′s south and all of the southerners in the movie are psycho rasists and you’d just wish they’d quit being so ignorant? Well, that what it’s like listening to mouthy bammers. You feel sorry for them and hate them all at once. They don’t know any better.
I apologize on behalf of UGA. We are sorry that we didn’t show up again for a big game. We are sorry that we made ‘bama look like a great football team. We are sorry that our actions tonight have resulted in yet another obnoxious, trashy, mouthy, redneck fan base feel like they own college football. This is like WVU all over again, except this time, I have to see more of these redneck fans in hounds tooth caps in Ryan’s Buffet parking lots talking about SaBear. Only that this version won’t be able to have 150 players on scholarship.

USC and tOSU aren’t in every announcers mouth like they usually are, so it takes 2 of the normal “top teams” out for a NC.
It’s early as fuck in the season, and the SEC East is rather… weak this year I think.. That, or the teams are just good and beating the shit outta each other. Florida lost, which helped, Vols can’t do anything.. Auburn is anemic.. Vandy…. is…… vandy.
Doesn’t really matter at this point.. UGA can still go to the SECCG, and thats plenty..
I just hope the trash to our west, can meet back in ATL again.

Acutally, I’m surprised that UT fans are gloating about anything at this point. The Vols definately get the win this weekend against Directional Illinois and then will get to shut down the worst running back in the nation, Knowshon Moreno.

I am a UT Fan ; ok I used to be one and will be again when JC is on the bench and Fulmer either gets some medication or resigns. Anyway, I was really surprised that Bama could put such a beat-down on the Dawgs. I was amazed that they were not ready to play in such a big game. They woke up ion the second half, but the game was lost by then . Maybe mark r. is just too calm and the players pick that up by osmosis. Maybe a little puppy-upper in the pregame meal would help. That was folking sad in the first half. But dont cry too much- we all know you can beat the enept VOLS in 2 weeks. I consider the NI game a tossup if JC plays much.
