Quarterback controversy? What quarterback controversy? Ohhh…THAT quarterback controversy

Jinxed
The psycho-drama continues:
“It brings out the best in me and I have every confidence in the world in myself that I’m going to be fine and I’m still going to be the guy,” Crompton said Sunday night. “That’s just how I go look at it.” Geez, you actually had to be the guy to continue BEING the guy, Numbnuts. I miss Ainge and his 31 TDs and his “mediocre” QB play, don’t you Cromptonites?
Who should be Tennessee’s starting quarterback?

When Tennessee takes the field Saturday, it just might have a new starting quarterback.
Or maybe not.
Following Jonathan Crompton’s continued struggles in a 14-12 loss at Auburn on Saturday, UT coach Phillip Fulmer said backup quarterback Nick Stephens will split first-team snaps with Crompton during practice this week in an effort to determine who will start Saturday against Northern Illinois (TV: Pay-per-view, 7 p.m.).
“I’d much rather the guy we anticipated being the starter play well and execute like we want,” Fulmer said during his weekly teleconference Sunday. “But that’s not happening for us on a consistent basis right now. I think we have to take a look at our options.”

Rumor is that Arian Foster has been benched too. Can’t become the all time rushing leader if you don’t have the ball.
More below
One other change the Vols plan to make on offense is giving Montario Hardesty increased carries at running back and reducing Arian Foster’s role. They also want to get sophomore Lennon Creer more involved in the running game.
Foster, who needs 422 yards to become Tennessee’s all-time career rushing leader, was involved in a fumble at the goal line against Auburn where he didn’t get the handoff cleanly from Crompton. The Tigers recovered for one of their two touchdowns.

You know, JC—if playing UCLA in the Rose Bowl to kick off your career as heir apparent to the legacy established by Heath Shuler, Peyton Manning, Tee Martin & company, followed by huge SEC match-ups against Florida at home and Auburn on the road are not enough to “bring out the best” in you, then I personally don’t give a rats ass what practicing against Nick Stephens does for you!
Foster has had concrete hands, that’s been established over the past couple of years, but that fumble on the goal line against Auburn was Crompton’s fault, no matter what Phat Phil sez. The replay on CBS told the story, Crompton was looking up in the stands for his Cromptonite family instead of looking the ball into Foster’s belly.
Also, Crompton’s comments are unbelievable. Think he is the result of too much mountain inbreeding.
Nick Stephens should get EVERY snap with the ones this week in practice and Crompton souldn’t see the field again unless Stephens, Coleman, AND Gerald Jones all go down with season ending injuries. Although the goal line fumble wasn’t Foster’s fault, he should get less carries than Hardesty and Hardesty should be named the starter. And one more thing, Fulmer should go ahead and start packing up his shit. Save some face and retire when the season is over Phil, PLEASE!
It is difficult to blame the players. The coaching staff should have fixed Foster’s fumbling problems when they started two years ago. Cromption should have played more the past twoe years just as Stephens and Coleman should be playing more, now. UNC is playing their third-string QB and winning. Why can’t we?
Coach Fulmer is a relic and he will not change…..so we make the changes.
Check the Cromptonites previous posts. This shit is hilarious:

Fulmer explains botched handoff. “The fumbled handoff between Crompton and tailback Arian Foster that resulted in an Auburn touchdown was a result of Foster holding his right elbow too low on the exchange. It hit Arian’s elbow, He didn’t quite have his elbow up as high as he should have.”
The elbow wasn’t at the exact angle of 43.72 degrees perpendicular to the South Pole that we at Tennessee coach our players. As a result of the bad elbow angle, we gave up an easy touchdown that ostensibly cost us the game.
But fear not, we’re going to “work like heck” and get this right. Next week, I promise you, Arian will have his elbow at the right angle.
Crompton says, “I’m the guy.” Did he mean he’s the guy that blows?
I’ve got a nephew playing high school football that could make better throws than Crompton.
Fuck 43.72 degrees. Crompton’s “technique” on the handoff sucked. If he can’t hand the ball off correctly, you know he can’t hit a pass progression, which oh by the way, he sucked at by throwing away at least 10 balls. This guy is sooooo fucking bad. I can’t believe that Phat Phil has stuck with him this long. The Cromptonites must have pics of Phil with little boys or something.
That is exactly what I have been saying. Either Fat Phil is plugging JCS mom or he has the battle captains hard drive which contains kiddie porn. There is no plucking way he (fat phil) didnt see this shite coming from fall practice. I been watching UT since King John majors was runnerup in the chicken doody HEisman and i have never,NEVER, seen a QB play soo bad and not get benched. Even if he is a goood practice player ( who knows) He has PROVED he is a total disaster in the games. Holy phockling Gawd- does he need to eat a live baby on TV to get the hook?
Crompton and Foster look like those faggot kids in Little Giants, only they won the game in the end.
Maybe he needs to sticky black goo on his hands.
I like watching Crompton, it’s like watching a train wreck in action, only you don’t feel as bad with the outcome.
I’m
Crompton might make a decent linebacker but if he is an SEC quarterback, Phil Fulmer is Nick $aban.
Bout time they bench Foster.
Guess they finally figured out fumbles from the bench aren’t quite as bad as one’s in a game.

I guess all you fuck ups who bad mouthed Eric Ainge wish you had those 31 tds back!
downtowndawg-
Will you still be talking shit when those “two little faggot kids” walk out of Athens with a W for the 3rd straight year?
35-14 bitch!
i got bad news fellow football know-it-alls , Mr Game Changer( Arian of the concrete hands and small attention span) has been named by the battle Captain ( John majors backstabber- i know it was a long time ago- but it shows his dishonesty(fulmers thatis) what the fuk was i talking about =damn this alheimers-) anyway- Cap fat has named foster the starter Sat night Vrs NIU. Can u fuking beleive the ears on that one?
Jai this thing is turning to shit, or already has. You need to breathe some life into this one way or the other or the whole mess is down the drain. The Vols and Crompton suck but no worse than this crap.
What the hell is going on?
