Dear God, Please prove you are bigger than their heathen Gods by letting Tennessee win. Amen.

Holy shit, I hope Fulmer doesn’t try and hire Tony Franklin and Tommy Bowden.  Somehow I am sure that we will hit bottom soon.  Rocky Top, you’re gonna be last in the SEC? Nothing to be ashamed of, the sec is a tough league.  It would essentially be the same as the upper tier in the Big 12, top 2 in the Big 10 and would win the Big East (with a BCS Bowl Berth).

Even with a change at quarterback, the Vols’ offense is horrible, particularly in the running game. The defense has its moments but is allowing third-down conversions at a 42.1 percent rate — including 52.9 percent in the 26-14 loss Saturday at Georgia. (attribute this to the tough defenses in the SEC fellas)

Why does a head coach say no to a QB competition in the spring? Chris Low dropped that on the Tony Basilio show. He said that OC Dave Clawson wanted a real, honest to goodness QB competition back in the spring but was ‘shut down by Phillip Fulmer who didn’t want to go through what he went through a few years back.’ Just when you thought it couldn’t get any more ridiculous! That is ridiculous!

But yet Stan Drayton calls for which running back plays and who doesn’t? That was refuted by C-Low. Hello. ‘It’s Phillip Fulmer’s program. He plays who he wants to play.’

Cedric Houston incident with Trooper Taylor. Taylor said ‘we’re going with one of the younger guys’ in a press gathering. Fulmer said ‘Coach Taylor got out ahead of himself on that one.’

If Cutcliffe was still OC, who would’ve been Tennessee’s starting qb? C-Low ‘Terrell Pryor would’ve been. But besides that, Cutcliffe was highly suspect of Crompton. Not to say he wouldn’t have won the job. But there would have been a real open QB competition.

Over the final 7 games, how many wins do you see? ‘I see Tennessee going and winning a game we aren’t expecting them to win. I don’t count out Phillip Fulmer. I still think they’re going to get one we don’t expect but they’re going to lose one we expect them to win. If they don’t beat somebody of repute they are 6-6 at years end. 6-6 a change is probably made. 7-5 is dicey. Do they go to him and say he it’s time?

‘I wonder if you’re Mike Hamilton, what does this do to my position?
