This writer votes to give Fulmer another year to get things straightened out. Yes he has made critical errors (playing Crompton) but he’s a national champion coach and he will get Tennessee back on top in my opinion. Poor QB play, a new system on offense, and a few critical fumbles by (shocker!) Arian Foster all have combined to devistate the first half of the season.
Now, if Tennessee gets blown out by Bama, then all bets are off. But I get the feeling that Saturday’s win over State was a major confidence booster for the Big Orange. If Nick Stephens can have a solid outing and Tennessee can stay even time of posession, I think an upset is possible.
In other words, don’t start digging Fulmer’s grave just yet.

He deserves a life long contract like Bobby Bowden imo.
I know that we are power house in the west, but I dont think saturday should give UT “a major confidence booster”. We are not yet at the level we should be.
