To burn a couch or not to burn a couch after the Auburn win?
I don’t know if you could consider beating Auburn’s ass as a big enough win to warrant burning a couch but if its a bad loss I’m sure several couches will meet their ultimate demise.
Well either way I have been pre-soaking a couch for just this very occasion. AT this point its not about how big of a win it is for our football team, we need to win and celebrate the hell of out it. We need our swagger back on offense, I don’t care if we score 28 points a game for the rest of the season as long as well are putting up Ws.
On the other hand, couch burning is reserved for a big win over a much “higher ranked” opponent. In a bizarre way it does give props to our defeated opponent in that they we are excited that we beat them. Hasn’t been the case for the last three years. We EXPECT to beat everyone!! No, Auburn doesn’t not rate sacrificing a couch.
