Bama fear or fear of Bama

The envy these other schools have for Alabama is just unbelievable. But Alabama remains alone as The University of Alabama and Coach Saban is the Coach. Other teams can only dream of having Alabama’s traditions. It’s why they are all out to get us. They are you know, it’s a fact that they conspired to set us up and now they see in their failure to destroy Alabama that we are returning to our rightful place on top. God Bless Coach Saban for staying at Bama. He could have any head-coaching job in the NFL but he stays because Bama is Special.

The Saban/Bama bashing continues . I truly believe it’s roots are based in fear. Fear that Alabama is on it’s way back. The Saban/Alabama combination has given the media, and Alabama’s rivals cause for concern . For almost 4 decades ( the 60′s,70′s,80′s and 90′s ) Alabama dominated not only the SEC , but college football nationwide . No other team accomplished more during those years . Many teams like Auburn , Tennessee, and others suffered embarrassing losing streaks that in this day, and time would be unheard of. Those memories still sting . Thanks to the NCAA Alabama was subdued after 2000 until now , but now the pieces are in place for the revival of Alabama football .   So how are our rivals reacting to that possibility ?

They are lashing out at the cause for their fear …. Nick Saban . When Alabama hired Nick Saban it brought together two of the most feared , and hated names in college football . On that day the jealousy ,and hatred for both doubled . Saban could have gone to almost any other university , and avoided much of the backlash from the media . Alabama could have hired any other coach , and avoided most of the bashing it has taken . Why is everyone taking shots ? Because all of a sudden Alabama is the New York Yankees of college football . The best has the best , and that could mean big trouble for the rest !

It amounts to nothing more than whistling in the graveyard  Let them take their shots.  As the Bear said : “This is perfect , they’re all having fun. Now it’s our turn”. The years of suffering are coming to an end.  Oh the bashing will continue , but it will bounce off of Alabama fans like spitballs fired at a battleship . Nothing short of a disaster (or the SMU Death Penalty) can derail the Tide this time. I for one will enjoy watching our rivals, and the media eat their words, with Alabama class of course .
