My moment of clarity
I left the tv to fetch my jalepeno chili cheeseburger and another Old Milwaukee, and when I come back I find Crompton in the ball game and my beloved Vols down by 2 scores. First off I was completely apathetically shocked over the score. Second, I literally sharted when I saw #8 in there. I recall that the old ball sack coach wanted to sign powerful young Cromptos pretty badly a few years back. I wonder if the OBC sharted when he saw #8 too?

Does anyone else think it was a good idea to give Crompton a series or two tonight? I’m afraid we may have pulled the plug on Crompton too quick. With a couple more games under his belt, Crompton would have been okay and might could have been the leader for us that Shuler was.
how can you question the heart and intensity of this warrior? Were any of you on the field with them? Did you talk to them during or after the game? I can promise you that our players wanted to win this game more than you or I did.
