The Battle Captain is forced out.

As Lloyd called it here, Fulmer is gone.  Thanks to Larry W. Smith for calling us personally and delivering the news that we already knew.  LWS.com scoops all major media outlets once again.

It is a sad day in Tennessee football history.  A man who dedicated 30 years of his life to the finest University in the south has been forced out by the angry wolves of the Tennessee fanbase.

Outermonvolia will soon fall.  It is now time for a change.  Brewster? Boom MF’r Muschamp? Butch Davis? Brian Kelly?  One thing is for sure, replacing TBC will be a nightmare

More to come from Jai later in the day.

  1. Check this shit out. ESPN, in the second paragraph, calls Fulmer “the dean of SEC coaches” and he didn’t even reference Jai or LWS. Absolute bullshit. You know this guy checks this website out. Check it out for yourselves:

My predictions for the next UT headcoach:

    Skip Holtzth
    Steve Spurrier Jr.
    Eric Mangino
    Vandy guy
    Nick Saban
    Kirk Herbstreit
    Tommy Bowden
    Terry Bowden
    Pat Summit

  2. 1-Kirk is the guy, but he has to make Musburger the OFFENSIVE coordinator.

  3. that’s fucked up. a year after taking tenn to the SECCG, and this is what the guy gets.

I say it will be Bobby Johnson. he appears to be too good a coach to leave wallowing at a doormat like vandy.

Saban will be heading to notre dame once they have had enough of fatass charlie weis….

  4. 3 – Saban’s not going anywhere. Hell, get ready for 13 this year.

  5. And the crowd goes wild….HIP HIP HOORAY!
btw, a state holiday will be held in his abscence

  6. All I know is when Jai does post his piece on this it better include one thing…

    My favorite photoshop, please…

  7. Just as I was beginning to like the guy, he fucking quits. What next? Is Bobby Bowden gonna step down tomorrow?

In all seriousness, I saw Fulmer’s press conference on Sports Center and I do feel bad for the guy. He truly loved his team/university/state/jelly donuts.
