Good stuff, indeed.
I had my political rant a few days ago, but THIS is what it’s all about, which is something all of us can agree on.
Best wishes to all of our veterens and their families, past and present.
Jai,
I am all about supporting the troops, but a picture of a little kid receiving the flag at his father’s funeral? Kind of hard to look at. I hope the rest of them come home safe.
Jim
It is not only about the troops, but the families that make sacrifices as well.
We are blessed to have these people care for us. Confusion to our enemies.
@2 Yes it is hard to look but it is a strong reminder of the sacrifice others make so some of us don’t have to.
Happy Veteran’s Day Colonel, miss you over on the Quest.
Awesome day.
I’m a veteran and work with a bunch of veterans, so we don’t give each other high-fives all day, but it’s out-freakin-standing that we have people who are willing to volunteer to enter and happily serve in a military that is in combat.
The younger generation has been judged by the MTV slackers. There are thousands of young people who are laying it on the line right now so the non-performers back home can have the right to redicule their efforts.
Thanks to all the veterans and their families.
I spelled “ridicule” wrong. Dang it.
And that photo is just fine. It reminds people of what these military folks risk.
God Bless our troops and all who serve and have served.
