I want my football announcers to have at least played the sport in high school, and if they are the analysts, they should have played in college. Don't get me wrong, though. Women and watching football go great together. As lloydbraun pointed out, they can bring you beer, sandwiches, etc. so you don't have to get up and miss any of the game. Other than that, silence is preferred. I could not agree more!
