Typical casino in the T-Town Ghetto. Must be after the 2008 Iron Bowl victory. Most of these Bammer women don’t have bruises, broken teeth or missing clumps of hair!!! RTR

Jai – this is NOT the classic version of this song recorded by the immortal Gene Watson.
Accept NO substitutes. Get a copy of the Watson recording if you can. It is even better than George Jones’ immortal “Yabba Dabba Doo, The King is Gone and So are You.”
By the way Jai- the singer of this crappy version of the Gene Watson classic – Colt Ford – is a proud resident of an SEC city alright – but not Tuscaloosa. He is a proud native of and resident of ATHENS GEORGIA. It’s on his myspace page and on every bio of him I can find. Strange why you would try to pass him off as being from Alabama. Do you put stuff on here that isn’t true? Just wondering.
By the by – here is an interesting quote from Mr. Colt Ford himself about his upbringing – in Athens, GA (that’s where his alma mater of Clarke Central HS – mentioned in the quote – is located). He also mentions his time as a college golfer – on the University of Georgia team:
“…This was before I even saw The Beastie Boys. Any of the kids I grew up with around Clarke Central will tell you they heard me rapping before they ever seen any other white kid doing it before,” says Ford. “I was certainly looked upon pretty funny back in the day, growing up around here doing that; you know, being a white kid that also plays college golf, and later, pro golf.”
Since Colt Ford is from Athens, GA – home of SEC school the University of Georgia -and Mr. Ford himself attended (and played on the golf team!) UGA, why are all the taglines on this post about ALabama????
Perhaps this post should be tagged as “UGA.” Like that’ll happen.

Hmm. Guy you really need to loosen up a bit. It’s fun music. And you know what, Jason Brown is absolutely right. He was the only white kid we ever saw walking around the halls of High School Rapping. He also wrote the Clarke Central Gladiator Rap while we were in High School. He also went on to be in a Sueprcat Video. I lived with him and met a few big names in the industry during that time. Great guy Jason is too. So why don’t you just ease up a bit on wherever his is or is not from because i’m Alabama born and I could give a crap less if he’s from Alabama or Russia, his musics fun, he’s a cool guy and he’s on his way up the ladder. I say he deserves it.
He played his Jr College golf at Central Alabama in Alex City, AL.
