My coworker runs up to me today and says, “Have you heard that Andre Smith got sent home from the Sugar Bowl?” I tell him no, and he proceeds to tell me it is b/c he has signed with an agent. I ask how he knows and he says, “B/c the agent is my best friend…”
The agent (whose name I have forgotten, will ask again tomorrow) comes from a big money REC family… skybox and house right across the street from B-D on gamedays. This guy is a young guy… failed the bar more than once but finally passed it. Well, he and his family would hold parties at their house after games for the football players to come and hang out. One day he met a young scrappy freshman OL named Andre. The agent becomes friends with Andre through their weekly parties Well he tells Andre one day he will be an agent, and wants Andre to be his first big client.
Fast forward a few years and the guy finally passes the bar exam and takes his contracts exam. He convinces Andre, BEFORE THE CLEMSON GAME, to sign with him. Andre agrees. Fast forward to now… CNS finally “gets word” of the situation and sends Andre home, saying he broke team rules, yada yada yada.
He was sealed up with an Agent BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED! Now the question is… if they just agree to a gentlemans agreement and nothing changes hands or is signed, is their anything illegal about it? Those details my coworker did not know… he just knew his buddy was Andre’s boy and they had agreed to it before the season started.

The envy these other schools have for Alabama is just unbelievable. But Alabama remains alone as The University of Alabama and Coach Saban is the Coach. Other teams can only dream of having Alabama’s traditions. It’s why they are all out to get us. They are you know, it’s a fact that they conspired to set us up and now they see in their failure to destroy Alabama that we are returning to our rightful place on top. God Bless Coach Saban for staying at Bama. He could have any head-coaching job in the NFL but he stays because Bama is Special.
