Mark Richt = A poor man’s Charlie Weis

Gotta keep an SEC nexus on my posts.  Seriously, who wastes more blue chip talent these days?  Fulmer is gone, so I gotta believe that Weis is the guy.

See what Mountain Damn Values can do?  Brian Cushing did, what a work ethic!

    That’s about a 34C before the steroids kicked in. A-Rod would only wish for Cushing’s needle guy.

    Georgia is the 5th winningest BCS program in Mark Richt’s time. (This from a program historically around 13th or so.) He has won 2 SECCs, he finished #2 in the country in 2007 with a 10-2 (6-2) regular season just like the MNC team. He made a goofy, slow left-handed kid the winningest QB in CFB history. He has 5 Top 10 seasons in 8 tries. Georgia was 1-9 in its previous 10 tries against Tennessee before Richt. It’s 5-3 since. Etc, etc.

    How has FSU done since Mark Richt left? Have they won 2 MNCs as they did with Richt running their offense? Oh yeah, that’s right… they went from perennial MNC contender to mid-level ACC joke for nearly a decade from the moment he walked out the door.

    Stafford/Moreno just happened to show up at a time UGA’s OL was completely gutted for 2 years by injuries and busts. Sucks, but don’t bank on that happening forever.

    Charlie Weis and Mark Richt… that’s a good one.

    @5 Lots of excuses and supposition in that comment. I will wait while you search for the # of BCS titles St Mark has won. I suppose you dawgs, so jealous of the Vols, should be praying instead of playing of BCS NCs.

    If whining about not being #1 is Richt’s mantra (2007 and 08 seasons), then good luck with the Poor Man’s Fulmer.
