Crompton: Retweeting Practice

Cromps probably sees a more open receiver than the guy to his right

Before I get started on discussing how Jonathan Crompton is going to lead Tennessee back to Glory, and how he was vandalized by message board queers, teammates, coaches, evil-doers and haters last year. I want to send out a “get well” to Larry W. Smith. Just how did he fall and break a fluid hip?  Looking at the pic above.  Can you see the  feet slipping from the improper application of the  double dutch rudder?? No not a  dutch rudder, it’s only gay if you touch dicks.  Doom on you Spank-tanking Jock Sniffers.  So you fellas be careful when you are plugging the B Gap!! No more broken bones!!

“you can’t blame last year’s failures on Crompton. He was a four star quarterback coming out of high school. Kiffin will fix him just like he fixed Carson Palmer.” – UTSportsfan28

I will admit to letting out many moans as Crompton took the field after the miserable first few starts but,the longer I watched and the more attention I paid to the incompletions my mind was changed.  At first I thought He did throw alot of just “uncatchable” balls but, he  that those balls  were just dropped.  Had the receivers caught just half of the catchable balls the talk of Crompton would have taken a completely different turn.

I’m not making excuses for the kid but he did have plenty of reasons for a not excelling as he should have:

  1. The elbow surgery after the O&W game surely had an effect on his strength and accuracy.  His arm was already to powerful.  He was unable to harness his arm strength.  Hence he was “bracketing” his throws into the dirt or into the stands
  2. How many times did we see the receivers run a different route than Crompton threw to? I believe that the WRs wanted the other QBs to fail in order to remove them as viable threats to Crompton.  Give them a chance to play, fail and end any backup threat of “stealing” his rightful place in Tennessee Gridiron History.
  3. The offensive side of last year’s scheme was more complicated and I don’t think any of the QBs grasped it completely nor did the receivers.
  4. The pressure of Fulmer being on the “hotseat” last season and in previous  seasons put added pressure on the whole team not just to win but, be the savior of Fulmer’s job.
  5. Dave Clawson’s brain and IBM approach to game.
  6. David Cutcliffe’s hate for those with a rigid value system.
  7. Erik Ainge’s huge shoes.  Honestly, what does the NFL see in him anyway?
  8. Kevin_Scott’s popularity

  5. Jim, a fleshlight is a leprechaun’s cock. Just kidding, it’s a masturbation device, well known to hard core Tennessee Vols.
