Breaking News: Tyler Smith to return to Tennessee for Senior Season
LWS is scooping the nation again and guaranteeing that Tyler Smith will be returning for the 2009-2010 season at Tennessee. Quit reading the rest of the internet for information on his decision.
A source (i.e.- a person with actual information – I’m talking to you, Hubbs/Lewis/Simple Kevin Scott/James “sic” Newman/GVX) informed us late Monday that Tyler has made up his mind to return. So, you can keep listening to basement radio and subscribe to pay sites for more details, but we feel as confident on this as we did on the Kiffin hire, Tyler’s last return, and the Hopson and Negedu commits.
UPDATE 13:34 CST: It appears likely that West or and Jurick or both will be gone to make room for #1’s return. FYI. Look for more information in the coming days. As Kevin_Scott would say, “believe what you wanna believe but I am fucking right and more informed and have more high school phone numbers than you.” The only difference in this case is we scoop ON THE REG.

West was released about a month ago.
West is still practicing with, and still a member of, the University of Tennessee men’s basketball team.

Why would Tyler want to come back and play for Pearl? Did he not realize last year that the guy is not capable of making his teams better. I have been embarrassed many times before by Vol basketball but not when the expectations were so high. Pearl looks lost on a division 1 bench.
So will the media blast tennessee for smith returning and having to get rid of players to fit him, like kentucky got blasted for getting rid of some of its least talented players? 54!

Hopefully Pearl will utilize this kid the right way this year. Last year Pearl embarrassed himself and all of the Vol nation with how bad he coached. My high school coach could have done a better job coaching the Vols last year
