Capping the SEC: South Carolina Preview
Take a look at South Carolina Football, a Program so backward and brain dead that it makes Mississippi State look like the Bammeroid Round Table by comparison. Don’t feel bad that you didn’t understand that reference, Alabama fans.

South Carolina only has one conference championship in their entire football history (1960’s ACC, lol), they don’t have a national championship, and their only publicity comes from being a coaching graveyard and the antics of a bemulleted QB. I’d say they have nothing positive to say because there is nothing positive associated with their program in general. USCe’s historical winning percentage is 77th (50.1%) among major collegiate teams. Even doormats are rated higher: Kentucky is 74th (50.3%) and Vanderbilt is 75th (50.3%). Horrible
SCAR has one 10 win season and one 9 win season over the HISTORY of the “program”. This sucks.
Bowl history USCe has been to 14 bowls with a record of (4-10) in those games. That fact just sucks more.
Desperate much? It is pathetic that SCAR uses the rivals star rating to overinflate fan expectations: Link
“I can take a three-star and make him a four-star, and I can take a four-star and make him a three- or two-star with the contacts I have,” Lawing said. “That’s how ridiculous recruiting on the Internet is. I took Chris Culliver (USC safety) from a three- to a five-star in three weeks. All you’ve got to do is talk to the right people.”
That makes the fall to reality that much sweeter…
In 2009, things get back to normal for the Charley Browns of the SEC racking up another sub-par season. Is there a way to trade South Carolina to the ACC? I would much rather have Clemson than this group of underachieving pussies.
Look for a strong finish in 2009.

Ole Miss loses to USC? I am not jumping on the Ole Miss bandwagon like some, but I would pick them over USC, at least in the pre-season.
I see six wins tops, what a travesty of a program.
I can hardly wait for the UT prediction thread. Always so hopeful and full of optimism. It is like the Rocky movies-we all know how it ends.
