Eric Berry 4 Heisman
2009 July 21

#14 is so scary that Tim Tebow gives him blumpkins just not to make him angry. GBO
Eric Berry, be careful. Remember that the Cromptonites are rising and will destroy those who would stand in the way of #8’s improbable dream. Ask Ainge, Stephens and Coleman who and why….”Chills”

Just wanted to be 1 of many who I think will foment on the most tallented Defensive player in the nation & if given the oppertunity to actually get reps in to also become one of the best offensive players in the nation! Watching him play is like watching Men play with boys. He’s at a whole different level. Only other person that I can honestly sayeven some what reminds me of that saying is watching Tim Tebow playing QB for my least favorite team in the Nation. But unlike Tebow I don’t see Berry staying at about same level as year before. I think this year will be unforgetable year for Berry this season. Regardless of how much opposing teams try to stay away from him he’s just so talented all around player there is no stopping him. I think his biggest assest is he’s not like most DB’s you can’t just lower your shoulder and intimidate him making him hold back. I think the hit on Noshawn Marino best shows that. He didn’t back down one bit to the power back who has decimated many DB’s in the nation! I think if Marino had a vote for the Heisman he would put a vote for #14 if the cob webs are cleared from his bell that got rung! After Berry’s hit marino’s bell is possibly like the famous Liberty Bells crack! Well it’s a shame I can’t vote forBerry cause I would cast it in a Heartbeat andjust pray that he doesn’t get left out like the last big Tenn. Player up for Heisman that got the shaft as Best College Player In the Nation by a player who can barely hack it in the NFL. But I don’t think Peyton would give back his wonderful NFL career for the trophy! Yet I have a feeling if you gave Charles Woodsen the option to give back his Heisman so he could be a stud NFL Champion MVP but maybe these are just some opinions from a Volunteer fan but BERRY FOR HEISMAN!!!!
Is that comment indicative of a typical Vawl fan’s educational level? Jesus Christ, that was nearly completely incoherent.
3rd Down H-Back-Your response is typical of an uneducated person who feels their two years of college gives them the right to ridicule someone else. Why don’t you finish up that college before you spout off.
I’m willing to bet that you’re a fan of a college you didn’t even attend. I guess the Jr. colleges aren’t up to your snuff.
Show some class!
You’re right, I pull for Vandy but I attended Yale. My bad.
And class? On this site? Bitch please… you must be new to LWS.
Listen here 3rd Down H-Back. You know as well as the rest of us that Eric Berry is the REAL DEAL. You proved that yourself without even realizing it by leaving a comment on a site that is praising our beloved Eric Berry and his accomplishments. If you didn’t think he was worth the hype you have have simply bypassed this entire article like so many others who are underestimating his dominance on the field. The simple fact that you would take the time to read up on him and then leave a half-ass rebuttal, (which also proved your illiteracy and the fact that the closest you ever came to Yale was googling the Ivy League college from the computer lab of your local community college), proves that you too agree that he is every bit worth the hype. I don’t blame you at all for being upset that he chose UT and the closest thing to a Berry that you and your fellow Vandy fans will ever have was a DJ Moore who despite being the elder was constantly overshadowed by the greatness of The Eric Berry! So just tuck your tail and take your overbearing humility to a Vanderbilt website. Berry4Heisman! Biyatch!!!!
Damn!!! Get ‘em! I lucked up and my aunt works for the people who make the jerseys and I got Berry’s…well my step-dad’s cousin watches Eric’s grandmother and got me the autograph. It’s gonna be worth a lot but I will NEVER sell it! That’s how much love I have for, probably, my favorite football player of all time! And yes….Berry4Heisman! (Just sucks that he can’t get the wins he needs from the rest of the team.)
You dumb fuck, I like Eric Berry. I think he is hands-down the greatest defensive player in the nation. And check my URL, needle dick. I write for this site when I am not deployed.
You are simpleton just like the Gumps. You might as well be wearing Crimson with a Daniel Moore painting hung up in your double-wide.
Berry is an outstanding DB no doubt. But he is still behind Nebraska’s Suh. Suh is a beast that has redefined the DT position, he has stats that look like a CB. Not to mention how he forces the opposing team to game plan for him, it opens opportunites for the other Blackshirts.
Regardless a defensive guy should win this year. There isn’t an offensive player that’s really lighting things up.
