Big Orange Roundtable Week 6

hosted this week by Rocky Top Talk

1. Which newcomer do you expect to play the most total snaps for the Vols this fall?

If the Brown/Oku running back duo can stay eligible and stop fostering (Urban Dictionary: Fostering)the “rock”…they will be the crowning jewels of one the SEC’s most prolific offenses. If Tennessee played the Steelers, I think we could pull out the win for 3 quarters. I think their D might be able stop Crompton, but I have no doubt we could hold them to a touchdown.

2. Assuming we all believe Gerald Jones is going to lead the team in receptions again this season, who will finish second?

Gerald Jones is part one of the nation’s best WR duo, and pretty too. That leaves Nole Brandon Warren as part two of the nation’s best WR duo, and pretty too. Tennessee Quarterback and soon to be cover boy of Teen Beat magazine, Jon Crompton will average 16 of 20 passes for 243 yards per game. Given Crompton’s genetic predisposition for stepping up and taking over a ballgame, this dynamic duo will be raining money (figuratively of course) this season.

3. If Tim Tebow and Eric Berry are the two best players in the SEC, who’s third?

Jon Crompton will be a huge darkhorse favorite for the Heisman.

Ask Phil Steele. He agrees with me. Jon Crompton is on Steele’s darkhorse Heisman List. Thanks Lane Kiffin for opening up the playbook and showing the world how great our quarterback really will be. How many teams will have a QB who can throw 40 times in a game, and still be as strong in the fourth quarter as he was in the first. Florida can keep the Tebow kid…he may be able to run, but he’ll never have the awesome arm like Jon Crompton does or the love from a coach like Lane Kiffin!!!

well personally i love him. he’s calm under pressure and knows exactly what he wants from his ballteam. it would not surprise me if he had my beloved Vols playing for another national championship.

Mark it down. You read it here first: Despite the complex schemes to defeat the Vols, there is still a silver lining and his name is Jonathan Crompton. Crompton will end up as the greatest quarterback in Tennessee history.

Generally speaking, which opposing SEC fanbase is your favorite to interact with? And which is your least favorite?

Alabama is both my favorite and least favorite. Favorite because they are the most gullible and least secure fanbase ever. Least favorite because they interrupt any serious dialogue about the future of our great program and to discuss the decisions made by our Leader, Lane Kiffin but theseeee dumbass BammerNecks ruin the experience.
