I don’t know for sure but it seems like folks are giving Jon Crompton a hard time and all he has done is go practice his heart out week after week , year after year for Tennessee.  Last Saturday, he did make one poor decision on Saturday in which he kinda/sorta threw up a jump ball for Zach Rogers about 20-25 yards down the field that resulted in a tipped ball and an interception. What I am saying is that it was not Crompton’s fault. It was the receiver’s fault. If you can touch it then you can catch it. And there were a few passes that he would have liked to have had back that he could have completed. But for the most part, he was very solid today. I left in the 4th quarter. Crompton had led the offense on 6 scoring drives for 30 points. Ginger Stephens had led the team on zero scoring drives. He also should have had an intercepetion today as well but a LB dropped a ball that hit him right in the chest.

#8 is the starter fellas. And many here on the Big Orange Nation rejoice…I smell another first round draft choice here after the Heisman and O’Brien Awards, I pray that we can convince the NCAA to let him come back for a 6th year due to his multiple offensive systems that he was forced to learn. Peyton, Tee, Johnny and Heath, you were good on the Hill, but you’re no match for Jon Crompton.

I’m already basking in the glory that awaits us.
