Using the old “they played this team that played that team” comparison: Ohio gave North Texas a great game and Alabama got all it wanted and more from a scappy North Texas team. I know that a lot of Bama fans happy to get North Texas behind them despite all of the bumps and bruises of playing such a physical game..
Last week against the “mighty” Gators, our offense seems to have found it’s groove in the pass/run game, and every game our D seems to become more and more dominant.
Frank Solich, the former Nebraska coach, is their coach, so theoretically, he’s going to bring in a hard-hitting, ground-attack sort of team. On defense, the Bobcats use the Roofie or the Mickey Finn Attack made famous by Solich When Football Coaches Dope Themselves – Frank Solich – Deadspin
I look for EB to break the interception record Saturday night! Jon Crompton breaks his single game personal best of 5 TDs. I think you will again hear Crompton’s name being favorably compared to Mallet, Clausen and Barclay. As it should be!!!

As long as the UT coaching staff is happy with just over 200 yards of offenses, then they indeed found their groove. BTW, you offense had fewere yards than last year
“and every game our D seems to become more and more dominant.”
The defenses did look good. About as good as last year, where the UT defense gave up fewer yards to Florida.
that was a great moral victory for us Ohio fans and the players are really psyched for next week, when we play Charleston High School.
