The Lou Groza Foundation announced today that Leigh Tiffin, Field Goal Kicker for the Alabama Crimson Tide, has been nominated as a candidate for the coveted “Lou Groza Collegiate Place Kicker Award”.
Sources close to the Groza foundation have said privately that Coach Nick Saban has been extraordinary in his decisions to put his kickers in the spotlight of nationally televised SEC conference games.
