The no-call on the int; the no-call on the helmet to chest hit on jordan jefferson; the several no-call holding penalties; the no-call face mask when lee was dropped for a sack.

lots of blown calls. go figure. not saying we would have won had the blown calls not occurred, but it would have been nice to find out. it was a physical game. let’s see what effect it will have on the roids.

lets hope he doesn’t discipline Julio like they are want to do in Alabama:

    http://edition.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/10/26/alabama.judge.inmate.sex/index.html

One of the alleged victims testified October 19 that he doesn’t know why his semen was found on the carpet of a small room used as an office by Thomas, according to The Mobile Press-Register newspaper. But he did say Thomas spanked him with a belt on several occasions, the newspaper reported, and that the paddlings took place inside a jury room, in the small office and at a Mobile, Alabama, fraternity house.

Another man testified that after he was charged with kidnapping and robbery in 2002, Thomas visited him in jail and urged the man to let Thomas decide the case instead of a jury, according to the Press-Register. Thomas convicted him of lesser charges, he testified, and sentenced him to a 90-day boot camp. He said Thomas also beat him with a belt on his bare buttocks about a dozen times at the courthouse, the newspaper reported. Neither man was identified.

“All of them [the alleged victims] were given preferential treatment at some point,” Nicki Patterson, chief assistant district attorney for Mobile County, said earlier this month. “And ultimately, when some of them refused to continue participating [in the activities], they were given what I would view as excessive sentences. But certainly while the inmates were involved with the activities we allege, the state would say, it was extremely lenient sentences.”

The interception should have been ruled in bounds by the replay official. It was conclusive enough. But the game still winds up the same. LSU had nine yards of offense in the 4th quarter. Nine. Single digits. You get your ass kicked like that in the 4th quarter you have been beaten.

hmm, well maybe one of the reasons we only had nine yds is because we should have got the ball back sooner in the 4th qtr had the right call been made.

it is over and done with. tide won. tide won the west. i am looking fwd to lsu playing well here on out with a chance to finish 10-2. it won’t be easy, but it is possible. if so, quite an improvement over last year. anyway, the roids still have to face moo u and the barn and the lsu game may have throwed them off a bit…as for the SECCG, one of the things roid nation has to contend with is Tebow of Nazareth. who does silve favor? “bama’s back” or History in making.

Stats can tell part of the story:

Consider that LSU went three-and-out on six of its 11 possessions.

Consider that the TiĀgers were held to 9 yards on 11 plays in a fourth quarter in which they were outĀscored 14-0.

    Whine about that, Hat.

All due respect Hat, LSU got nine yards on 11 plays in the 4th. at that rate, they get that intereception and since they were 65 yards away they would only need 80 plays to score the winning points. LSU should get that TD in the 1st quarter of the game two weeks from now.

Get real. Bad call sure. But LSU was beaten.

    to sum it up:

“A brief perusal of articles on the game show that the faux controversy has gotten nearly as much press as actual events on the field, even in a game where Bama handled a team that has as much talent as anybody in the nation and is clearly playing its best ball of the season. But remember, it would take actual work to analyze and discuss the football game. Ignorantly parroting somebody else’s rabble-rousing squawks is much easier, and besides, the rubes eat it up like popcorn.”

Well lets see. On the 3 and out subject. You should take one of those away as clearly evident on the first drive of the game for LSU. The officials were already deciding the outcome for you Elephant jockies. Jordan Jefferson was clearly across the first down marker when he was hit backwards and brought down. And dont try the rule that you lose your forward prgress when hit back and you continue to run. His forward prgress was stopped beyond the first down and the officals marked it a half yard behind. And that was just the beginning of the corruption. Alabama didn’t handle anybody!! The officals did it for them. And Ya Mamma….analyzing the plays on the field include analyzing the help that BAMA got from the refs during those plays.

well put, Garret. I believe another 3 and out could have been avoided had the ref called the personal foul on the roid player who decided to spear Jefferson in his chest. the ref had a plain view of what happened.

i won’t even mention the block in the back on Taylor when Julio made his td score. i won’t mention it because Taylor should have made the tackle anyway.

alas, it is over and the tide rollers won. the question now is who will the refs favor in the seccg? bammer or the Media Darling Prince Tebow?

He’s gone full-tilt. I definitely would not want to play for a coach who so easily loses their cool. That could definitely influence his coaching if he were put under intense pressure. Hear that recruits? You need an ice man.

Not to labor this, Hat, but have you seen a state sheet? It’s roughly 450-250 Bama in total yars. This was not a really close game. Sure there were blown calls and that stinks – I’m with you on the INT. But LSU was not winning at any level. The best team won.

Ooops . .that should be “stat sheet” and should be “yards” not “yars.”
