Pass the syrup!!

Pass the syrup!!

Hey guys, It’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that Shoney’s Big Boy is out the door at South Bend. I have taken the liberty to compile a short list of legitimate candidates to replace the lard ass.

Hell Lane Kiffin’s doing a damn good job as far as I’m concerned . . .

I think that Notre Dame – quite frankly – is not the job it once was or the job that the Beano Cooks and Lou Holtzs of the world think it is. Nobody under retirement age still thinks of ND as a great program. It hasn’t won an important game since Lane Kiffin’s infancy.

The day when all the great Catholic prospects went to ND and made it a national power for that reason are over because 1) there are few great prospects who are Catholic (not many African-American Catholics, to boot) and 2) the number of devout Catholics as a percentage of US population is down overall and 3) ND is in South Bend Indiana and the great programs today are in the Sun Belt.

ND isn’t GOING the way of Army – it has GONE the way of Army. It’s not a great program and never will be again.

Army can’t beat Navy either. Good point.

Tommy West would be a great fit with the Irish fans.

Remember the last time ND won a bowl game? Me neither . . .

Maybe ND should compete in a conference. They look like a good fit for the MAC.

At coach’s conventions Fulmer used to stand next to Charlie Weis to look svelte . . .

You Vol fans really make me laugh. Your sarcasm sucks, too.

Seems you wait in the bushes to jump at anything negative about UF.

Where were you viles back in July when Urban Meyer (that’s his PROPER name, BTW) said “I’m not going to Notre Dame – EVER”? What part of that do you fail to understand?

Who will be the next ND coach if and when Cheeseburger Charlie gets canned? Look no further than Brian Kelly at Cincinnati.

If not him, Jon Gruden wants to get back into coaching, and BTW, he has some ties to the Domers.

Oh, and no more “moral victories” for Lame Kitten.

    “Lame Kitten”? are you queer?

Jai I despise Kiffin but right now he doesn’t look lame at all on the field . . . .

I like the synergistic effect Kiffin has created

I like the fact that Kiffin can’t evaluate his own talent, but lies about other programs to get their recruits to decommit and sign with him.

wouldn’t a more appropriate poll be “who will be Florida’s next coach”?

“Can’t remember last time ND won a ball game”?! Um, last year, idiot! Maybe that’s why you can’t remember who still holds the record for national championships in football. And the last one of those for Notre Dame was 1988 if you can’t remember that….

    Was that a real bowl game? I thought that was a made-for-tv movie . . .

I stand corrected. But congrats to ND for setting an all-time NCAA record for bowl futility by losing more in a row than anyone in history.
