Turkish and yankee77 obviously have not realized that the age of making fun of people from the south has ended. We are not and never have been incompetent as you have always thought, and an accent does not make one stupid. That being said, the reason the SEC is the best conference in college football is because of the importance of high school football in the south. States like North Carolina, Georgia, Florida along with Texas and Oklahoma (More southern than Yankee) have the top recruits year in and year out. Why would they not want to go to an SEC school? Football means nothing in the north below college level, the high schoolers are to big of pussies to play.

What notre dame needs to do is lower academic standards so they can recruit the retards from the southest just like the SEC does. I think most SEC school standards are, if you can just spell you name correctly you can play. I agree with yankee77, you inbred white trash hillbillies need to focus on your nascar and leave football to the educated people.
