MyFanPageAdd BuddyI’m proud to have a coach that cares…Reply I don’t know how may of you guys are fathers, but if you are you should understand some of what Meyer is going through. The ’06 class was his first class at UF where he really got involved with recruiting. He got to know these recruits and their parents very well. He basically raised these kids as if they were his own for the last 4 years and now some of the cornerstones of this class and some of the players Coach Meyer is really close too(Tebow, Cooper, Spikes etc.) are leaving along with guys like Stamper who wasn’t a part of the ’06 class, but has become very close to Meyer as well. It’s like his kids are moving out of his house and on with their lives and as a parent myself I can see how the thought of that would choke him up a little. I guess we have too many badasses on this board to understand that you can get emotionally attached to kids even if they are not your own. I wish that I could hold him or hold any of those kids, just to make them warm. I want to make the cold hurting pain go away.

Wow. I wonder what this guy would have given to be in on that nuzzling action in the UF-LSU game.
I’m going out on a limb here and guessing this guy can’t live within a half mile of a park or school and has to introduce himself to his neighbors when he moves.
