I changed my mind. Kiffin is a punk. But he is my punk. So what if he barely even looked at Frank Beamer during that half-hearted handshake. Note to Beamer: At least shake hands like a man and look the man in the eye after his team takes your team to Leach’s woodshed.
When we get a win, Kiffin gets all the credit. When we lose, its all Fulmer’s fault. You cant have it both ways. We got our butts handed to us last night and the responsibility goes on the coaching staff. They are making too much money to have any team that they coach come out and lay an egg. Embarrassing.
It is time to stop blaming Fulmer. The morons doing that are beginning to look like the Obama administration that keeps blaming Bush whenever its convenient. According to Rivals records and they seem to have real good records, over the last 5 years, Tennessee averaged 14th nationally in terms of its recruiting classes. Va. Tech averaged 23rd so we must have had at least equal or better talent on the field tonight. Fulmer gave us a lot of good times and teams as well as a NC, so whatta ya say, let’s give him a break and starting in 2010, let’s not blame him anymore. I never blamed Majors for anything Fulmer did and I will not blame Fulmer for what happens on Kiffin’s watch. How bout it!

Are you insane coming in to Florida second or third when it comes to landing a recruit. Have you heard of Bryce Brown?? You know the number 1 player in the country last year. Wait you are insane Monte Kiffen will continue to fail. I don’t think that has happened sure Derek Mccluster made the defense look bad but 1 game. Take away the Ole Miss game and we lost all 4 other regular season games by a total of less than 20 points and 10 of that was to Florida. All that with a QB who had 4 different offensive coordinators. I could go on and on but your ignorance can not be changed and I’m not going to waste mine arguing when you are right you don’t have to argue. Oh and last time I saw some of those coaches you mentioned they didn’t have NC rings and thier teams were getting manhandled by the SEC. The 5 team from the SEC v/s the 2 team probably the 1 team from the acc and even with that a catch by Moore and it’s a different game. And the Two seconds on the clock at the end of the half turned the momentum back. That play and only that play you might blame on coaches nothing else UT is on the rise and will be sporting Rings before this first Recruiting class leaves.
If you are going to call someone out for being insane or ignorant, at least proof read your post and make sure that it makes sense.
I think Kiffin is an OK coach. But he is looking more and more like a failure. You can’t talk like you’re Vince Lombardi when you produce results like Lovie Smith. He isn’t a bad coach, just not nearely good enough to back up his boasts.
People talk about “swagger.” I’ve seen three year olds swagger. Kiffin’s “swagger” has much more in common with a toddler’s than with the onetime swagger of Steve Spurrier.
