Two more good signs for the Derek Dooley administration: After a harrowing 24 hours, which included a flight from Atlanta to Charlotte and back again, four-star WR Markeith Ambles made it to Knoxville after all, driven by LB coach Lance Thompson and recruiting intern Steve Rubio.

The fact that Ambles went through so much trouble to visit Tennessee certainly bodes well for the former commit, who was said to be leaning toward following Lane Kiffin to USC.

Also, three-star S Eddrick Loften, who committed early last week and then almost immediately scheduled a visit to USC this weekend, canceled that trip, solidifying his commitment to the Vols.

Dooley appears to have dug Tennessee out of the hole in which it found itself when Kiffin left. The Knoxville News-Sentinel offers this handy-dandy guide to UT’s recruits pre and post Dooley’s hiring.
