Via email…Can anyone translate?
Brown and Dooley never met face to face (according to one of our sources who spoke to Brown and according to Dooley himself) and the two aren’t expected to do so. The question is will Dooley release Brown of his scholarship. Had Brown asked Dooley face to face for the release, we believe that he would have gotten it. But the fact that Brown didn’t come see Dooley puts getting the release in question and it does appear that Dooley has decided yet.
I have posted on this blog for about 15 months now and I have to say what I thought was a great group of fans now has turned into a bunch a babies.
This is bull crap all this crying over a kid that is a five star, all this crying about dooley should have done this with Brown, dooley should be more outspoken. All these fans worried about what Kiffen is doing.
Listen people we are Tennessee and I have been a fan for 30 years and it has been a great 30 years. Are we where we were in the 90′s no. We are not that good right now and that is the way it is. We are not going to turn a kid just like that to a program that has had 3 coaches in three years. What we can do as fans is get behind this team, this group of guys that are busting there butts so we can go and watch them play on Saturdays. Do you have the right to complain about stuff sure you do it is America but come on guys get behind this team and be true fans of Tennesee football not some spoiled brat that thinks you can win every game. we will be better one day but for now we will struggle but we struggle together as a fan base and as a team. Thank you coach Dooley for taking the job and good luck to you and your staff. I hope all of you jump on board with this team they have a chip on there shoulder and they will do there best and so will the coaches. Now as fans we have to do our best to support these kids and not complain about a stupid star. LET’S GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By not granting the release – it’s Dooley who has kept this story in the forefront. He said he’s ready to move on, but he’s taking the only action that he can to prevent the kid from doing so.
If Brown had committed to Dooley, I could understand the stance. But since he is trying to leave to go to what is (IN BROWN’S OPINION) a better situation, he is doing nothing different than what Dooley did La Tech half a year ago.
Hypocrisy much coach?
Team Brown (Daddy, Bryce and all the hangers on who hope one day to get the payday) have had a silver spoon in their mouth since the punk kid was in the 9th Grade. Dooley was trying to get said punk kid to work some “growing up skills” by having said punk kid come in like a man and ask for his release. Said punk kid acted like a punk kid and bolted town thinking “daddy” could make it right with Dooley. Dooley balked. Said punk kid is now punked. He can go to a JV for a year or what the real scenario will be is the agent that’s been courting him for years will foot the K-State bill for year 1. This is a NCAA violation wait’n to happen, dog.
So…you’re over 30 and this is best you can write?
