A friend is gathering blankets to send to the Marines of the 2/9 – winter temperatures plunge below 0º in Afghanistan.

Most any design and/or color will work.

Important mailing dates for sending care packages:

(1) USPS advises that packages must be sent by Nov 12th to make it to FPO addresses by Christmas.

(2) The cut-off date for mailing any packages to the 2/9 during the remainder of their deployment is Dec 2nd.
