i WOULD LIKE TO ask Janzen Jackson why he threw away 5 to 15 million dollars. I am not being judgmental or making any reproach- I really want to know. To me this situation is bizarre and completely without logic. Heres my take- JJ was ourbest def player by a wide margin. He was second team All-SEC last year and there was every reason to think he would have been one of the top def backs in the SEC and the nation in 2011. If that had happened, he could enter the NFL draft and would probably be no worst than a high sec round pick. I believe that translates in to a SIGNING Bonus of several millions. He could have had a lot of money, just by signing his name. Am I wrong about this? What part of this am I not understanding? Why would such a gifted player choose to throw away sure money? I honestly dont comprehend. . Some one please educate me about the holes in my theory . Are my projections way off the mark? Is JJ really not a great talent? WTF?.
Its only one game- BUT- LSU looks to have a bunch of great players. Big, strong, fast and they made few mistakes in a high-pressure game against a good ( if not great) team. I think Bama will have a tough time with these Tigers. LSU may be the the best team in the country. ( Remember when UT was 3 deep at almost every position- it seems like a previous life now) Les Miles for coach of the year?
