Bray with his feet hanging over the edge….

Bray is coming back against Vandy. Does anyone remember him crying last season? Or the illegal hit that broke his thumb as Tennessee was rallying to a sure win?

The crying showed he cared, which is much more than we could’ve asked for after being stuck with Crompton for the past 2 years.

Crompton would throw 3 picks against UCLA and blame his linemen. Bray throws a pick against UNC and cries. Breath of fresh air. Finally somebody that has a sense of accountability and understands when he messes up and doesn’t pass the blame along.

I think that alone will push Bray to be better. He understands when he is doing bad and wants to improve on it. The spring game was an indication of that. He was clearly frustrated, wanted to be better, but the conditions and other variables played too big of a factor for him or any of the QB’s to be effective.

People think Bray is a cocky player, and he is, but that does not haze his judgement of good play vs. bad play. Crompton is the perfect example of somebody doing all the wrong things but trying to pass them off as right. Sometimes we forget what Tennessee had vs. what we have now. Bray knows when he does something wrong and pushes himself to make better on it.

That is why Bray will light up Vandy D and the LB named FUGGER.
