I don’t think the “legal problems” faced by UF are any different than any other “High Profile” Div. 1 school. In order to be competitive, they are all forced to recruit inner-city Black athletes who traditionally are not prepared to deal with the complexities of the White Legal System. In most cases the real fault can be placed at the feet of a system that exploits the natural physical ability of young Black men but doesn’t give them the structure and guidance they need to behave in a Socially Acceptable manner.
