Proof that ESPN hates UT and they are shoddy in reporting. When I pointed out their mistake in the SEC East Rankings they ask for me to do the research to show them the correct ranking.

Here is the official site for the SEC. They have the correct rankings on the bottom right of the page.

The SEC East Rankings are inaccurate. ESPN.com lists Georgia as being 2nd in the SEC EAST when actually Tennessee finished 2nd b/c they beat Geogia to win the 4 win tie.

Oh deal lord, I really hope other UT fans don't still believe the "ESPN hates Tennessee" crap. Talk about some of the most nonsensical conspiracy theory garbage. Jai, do you also wear your tin foil hat and walkie talkie?
I like how the "liberal sports media giant" would favor Georgia over Tennessee, as if Georgia is some bastion of the left.

I gotta agree with this article. After launching investigations into the UT sports program and "trying" to put the NCAA onto Tennessee, it is obvious. The little ESPN reporter thing with Kiffin last year was quite obvious it was set up.
Why didn't they look into their little accident when the give Mya Moore a 5-star tour of their facility. Then, after UCONN ladies win the nat'l championship they claim Geno as the "best coach ever"!!!!!
However I do feel they cannot stand the fact that SEC football is the best. They cannot get off the Big 10 or Big 12's teabags.

LOL, touchy are we.....arguing over a slight oversight during a lackluster season. You will be arguing over 5th place this time next year.

I wish they did hate UT. Then maybe they would replace Chris Low with someone a little more objective and a little less provincial.

Gainsville, you may want to Google "SEC ESPN TV contract".
There has been a significant development in the SEC's relationship with ESPN that you may be interested in.

Your comment drips with irony, like gravy from Chris Low's double chin perhaps?

Is this what we have come to: arguing with those ESPN fags about whether we finished in 2nd or third place 1n 09? Is this an accurate snapshot of the meaningless trivia we choose to fight over- much like wild dogs tearing a week-old road kill to pieces and fighting each other over the rancid flesh ? WHAT HAS BECOME OF US , THE VOL FOOTBALL FAITHFUL? hOW CAN ONE PERSON ( Mr Mike Hamilton) destroy a hallowed and respected program in less time than it takes to obtain a degree from a Jr college? I dont know how- but he did. This team will be very lucky to win half of their games next fall and that record will not exactly cause 5 star guy to break our door down wanting to come here. Someone in the TN family needs to create a task force to reconstruct Hamiltons actions of the last 3 years ( after firing him of course) and determine exactly how he went so horribly wrong that it may take 10 years to repair the damage. The next 2-3 years are going to be painful for the BIg Orange faithful. Gird your loins my fellow suffers, this will take a while to fix.

Relax boyz still enough talent to make things interesting. I can see the remaining hamburgler and some of the others easily shoving a willcock up UGA's tailpipe. It's more fun coming from the ghetto than heading to it.
I will say tho if themain excitement in the redneck fanbase is about last year's 4th string tailback doing well in spring scrimmages maybe the ol orange has truly fallen into the bottom of the pack.

Curley Hallman, I want to thank you. I was afraid the whole Dooley in Knoxville might dampen the rivalry. You be careful pumping your gas in Knoxville, you never known when a letterman will be around. See you in Athens.

Hey Mike in Valdosta you must have gotten into Hal Mumme's pill box.
No one in Tennessee gives a flying fuck about Derek Dooley's dad.
Good luck this year with that bunch of slow pussies you call a defense.

Thanks, Curley. I hope to find that pillbox soon. For the life of me, I cant understand why a coach would leave Knoxville.
