It should be a great match up this coming Saturday in Tennessee as the Volunteers take on the visiting Missouri Tigers. While the Volunteers have an excellent offense that is capable of scoring big points, they give up just as many and the Tigers have a pretty solid and interesting defense. This game will ultimately come down to who can fluster the other team and get up big early in the game.
When it comes to Tennessee, they have developed one of the best offenses in the league, managing to rack up 24th highest points scored in each game throughout the entire nation. Where they fall apart, however, is on defense. They allow a great deal of points that has done them in on more than one occasion and made sure they do not even have a winning record at this stage in the season. This could prove to be a problem for the team, as they are going up against a defense that knows how to stop big scoring opponents in the Missouri Tigers. Where they slip up in in their offense. They are 96th ranked right now and have had trouble moving the ball up and down the field all season. They will need to figure out how to this week against a Volunteers team that, as previously mentioned, knows how to get points. If they cannot, this game may full well turn into a blow out by the games end.
